The End is Near

Well, the end of our trip has finally come and being with our "littles" can't come soon enough.  As I write this I am in Tokyo awaiting our flight to Denver and then onto Atlanta.

The last two days we spent in Chiang Rai.  It is only 45 minutes from Burma (Myanmar) and an hour and a half from Laos.  Actually we went to the Burmese border and climbed what seemed like 1000 steps to a temple that overlooked Burma and we had a chance to pray over Thailand and Burma.  It was a beautiful time. We really like Chiang Rai and stayed with a wonderful family who are restoring children and raising up a spirit of adoption in the city.  It was great to spend time with people who had similar vision and hearts.  I encourage you to go to ezekielrain.com and check out what they do.We also had an opportunity to go to the local International Christian Church where we worshipped with local missionaries from various denominations.  We really feel that we could live in Chiang Rai.  It felt like home to us and the international school had a family feel which we loved and I know our kids will too.  We have alot to pray about and can't wait to see how God directs us more specifically.

This blog is short because I still have alot of thoughts, feelings, that I need to pray about before putting them in a blog.  There are a few pics below of Chiang Rai, Burma, and misc. stuff.  Now it is back to raising funds.  We have to be at 50% by  September and now that we have visited Thailand, our desire to be there has grown exponentially.  If you can help support one time or monthly, please consider partnering with us by clicking here  https://giving.ag.org/Give/Search?SearchFields.Ministry=262088
